Suspects Arrested In Attempted Robbery At SugarHouse
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The suspects in the attempt to rob a South Jersey man of his SugarHouse casino winnings, in October, have been arrested in Philadelphia.
The suspects had followed the victim home after spotting him claiming his winnings.
The victim was the last man standing after a bachelor party that ended at SugarHouse. He got lucky at blackjack and left in a cab about 6 a.m. with almost $2,000 in his pocket.
The suspects jumped him when he got out of the cab but he was able to pull one man to the ground; the other tripped on his own pants and they fled with nothing.
