Linc’ Is Ready To Go
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Eagles management says Lincoln Financial Field is ready to go for Tuesday night’s contest between the birds and the Vikings. But it took a herculean effort to get the stadium complex prepared for the players and the fans.
Don Smolenski, chief operating officer for the Philadelphia Eagles, says the field was covered with a tarp before the storm started. That tarp was cleared of all the snow and removed Tuesday and the sun is drying the field.
