Reverend Mary A. Jones At Phila./Delco Front Page News Newspaper And POWER WVSR1360.US Radio by Van Stone (267) 293-9201

Reverend, Mary A. Jones,

The Reverend Mary A. Jones has joined the Philadelphia Front Page News staff as a poetry writer since the year 2009.

Mary A. Jones was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  Graduating from West Philadelphia High School, she continued her education at Lincoln University.  After her second year at one of the Historical Black Colleges, she accepted a job in the field of technology.  Excelling in the position of supervisor and computer trainer in nine months, she decided to continue in the pursuit of her career in the area of business management and technology.  Ms. Jones has 32 years of expertise ranging from Data Entry/Keypunch Operator to Training the Trainer, to Product & Project Manager.

Mary was inspired by her natural ability as a technical trainer and the love for what she was doing to become an entrepreneur.  Her endeavors as a Sole Proprietor moved her into the challenge of being the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of two businesses, both setup as a ministry in the communities; Point ‘N Click Technology and the Bethesda Prayer Ministry a.k.a. the House of Mercy.  As sole proprietor Mary provided computer training, web site design, and desktop publishing.  Ms. Jones also founded MAJones – Community Development Resource Center.  The primary function of this non-profit organization is to serve the neighboring communities in the area of literacy. The resource center is also certified as a site for the Mayor's Commission on Literacy, where Ms. Jones is an Adult Literacy Coordinator/Instructor; as well as a mentoring organization in The Greater Philadelphia Mentoring Partnership at the United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania (Church Mentoring Network).

Mary was a business partner with the African American Chamber of Commerce.  As a member of the Chamber, she was also on the Technology Task Force, a standing committee of the Chamber.  She was very instrumental in the development of the Chamber’s “Technology Road Show”.  Her efforts at the Chamber were directed towards technological awareness and business development by conducting workshops at the Chamber.  Ms. Jones also served on the Computers and Technology Stakeholders Partnership for the Philadelphia Public School System.  As a Stakeholder, she worked closely with other executives from other companies with the task of ensuring that teachers, principles, and students are educated and equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge in the area of computers and technology.  As a Stakeholder was a member of the Career Options Committee for students and has been asked to sit on the Certification Committee.

Her latest endeavor as a writer is providing technical tips at Point ‘N Click Technology’s Online Tech Lab at the Philadelphia online Front Page News. The articles are a good read and simple enough for those who may not be tech savvy to understand and follow.

Today, Mary has become a free lance reporter for the Philadelphia / Delaware County Front Page News newspaper, as well as the internet radio station the POWER WVSR 1360.US.

Brother IB Photography Joins The Philadelphia Front Page News And Power WVSR 1360 by Van Stone frontpagenews1@yahoo.com (267) 293-9201.

Brother IB, Phila./Delco Front Page News,
Director of Photography Operations. Founder of
Brother IB Photography.

Award-winning videojournalist and photographerjournalist Abraham EL, aka “Brother IB,” was born in Augusta, Ga. February 26 1980. Ten years later, a move to the Westside of Philadelphia dramatically changed his future. In the 90’s and 2000’s he made his name as a pioneer of rhythmic Hip-Hop at the City of Philadelphia Unity Daybreak and Welcome Americabreak. Brother IB has a unique talent for taking Urban Videography and Urban Photography pictures news in a hopeless neighborhood filled with blight and gun violence days and nights and surviving in one piece. In the end of it all IB presents photos that tells quite a different story of positive news and community hope. Today he has founded his own photography group called Brother IB Photography.

In 2005, Brother IB discovered his ability and passion to capture the extraordinary beauty of the City Park, music artist, political leader, children service worker, and barber when his friend wanted a picture of the Fairmount Park to decorate the classroom wall. With the confidence of an experienced photographer, Brother IB went out and bought a videocamera setup, walked in the park, and started snapping away, capturing the beauty and power of Philly statues. "IB’s view" is a unique and often high tech perspective of kids, community leaders, urban parks, music artist, and barber hair styling from the inside out, captured in photos for all to enjoy from the comfort of the kitchen table, porch or living room.

Brother IB on the Philadelphia Front Page News Newspaper

In a short time, Brother IB has gained citywide recognition for his urban videography and urban photography with exhibitions and internet websites in Philadelphia, PA and throughout the US along with news reports on Philadelphia Front Page News –newspaper, magazine and television.

In the early 2000’s Brother IB’s photography was combined with him starting and funding “Thurobred Kids” an organization that provided positive alternative activities for West Philadelphia youth.  As a hip-hop artist he has created his CD, “Operation Freedom” on Akhenation records.   Brother IB promoted free hip-hop music themed concerts and showcases for peace starring young children and “Bro. IB’s Hip-Hop All Stars. Several of the shows were at the Huey Samuel B. Huey Elementary School, 52nd and Pine Street and the Rotunda, 4014 Walnut Street.

During the month of July, 2014, Brother IB has joined the Philadelphia Front Page News, www.frontpagenews.us / www.fpnnews.us, Delaware County Front Page News, www.delcofrontpagenews.com, and POWER WVSR 1360 Internet Radio Station, www.powerwvsr1360.us  Photography Team as Director of Photography Operations. He will mainly take very important pictures for both radio and newspaper news reports. And Brother IB will continue his contribution in video work for the news feed.
