Conshohocken Police Sergeant Arrested For Parking Meter Scheme
CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa. (CBS) – Authorities announced the arrest of Conshohocken Borough Police Sergeant Anthony Santoro for theft and other related offenses on Tuesday.
Sgt. Santoro allegedly engaged in a year-long scheme of skimming coins collected from city parking enforcement officers. According to the Montgomery County District Attorney’s office, in July, Police Chief Michael Orler noticed when Sgt. Santoro returned from an assignment helping parking enforcement, he suspiciously removed an envelope from the police car to his personal car.
