Raptors Beat 76ers In Double Overtime
TORONTO (AP) — DeMar DeRozan scored the winning basket with 35 seconds to play and the Toronto Raptors beat the Philadelphia 76ers 119-116 in double overtime in exhibition play Wednesday night.
DeRozan, who missed a potential winning free throw at the end of the first overtime, converted a hook shot and Amir Johnson added a dunk to help the Raptors (2-2) snap a two-game losing streak.
Philadelphia’s Louis Williams had a 3-pointer rim out in the final seconds as the 76ers lost for the fourth time in five preseason games.
Jarrett Jack led Toronto with 24 points, Leandro Barbosa had 19, DeRozan 16, and Andrea Bargnani 14.
