Streets Reopen After No Bomb Found In Pa. Garage
LANCASTER, Pa. (AP) — Authorities in central Pennsylvania say an anonymous report of a possible bomb in a downtown Lancaster parking garage that prompted an evacuation was unrelated to Sunday’s killing of Osama bin Laden by U.S. troops.
Lancaster Police Chief Keith Sadler told the (Lancaster) Intelligencer Journal/Lancaster New Era that the anonymous call actually was related to a police investigation that has been going on for the last few days. He declined comment on the nature of that investigation, which also has involved the FBI.
