4 South Jersey Schools Close After Buses Burn
BORDENTOWN, NJ (CBS) – Four schools in Burlington County were closed for the day after several school buses were destroyed by a “suspicious” fire early Thursday morning.
The school district announced late Thursday afternoon that all the affected schools would be OPEN on Friday.
Firefighters were called shortly after 3:30 a.m. Thursday for a report of a fire at 50 Dunns Mill Road in Bordentown, NJ.
Eleven buses — three full-size and eight van-size – were destroyed, and as a result four schools were closed for the day and one school was opening two hours late.
