Philadelphia Eagles post record-setting first half behind awesome offense
In just one quarter of "Monday Night Football" the Philadelphia Eagles rewrote their record book.
The Eagles almost effortlessly rolled out to a 28-0 lead in breathtakingly easy and awesomely efficient fashion, and led 45-14 at the half.
Michael Vick's 88-yard bomb to DeSean Jackson represented the longest first play from scrimmage in Eagles' history, the longest pass play of each of their careers and the 10th longest in team history.
The 28 first-quarter points also are the most in team history and the 45 in the first-half the most ever in a half.
