Philadelphia Police Department Recognizes 69 Officers

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Philadelphia Police Department recognized 69 officers Wednesday afternoon during merit commendation ceremonies, including two officers from the city’s 15th district whose heroic efforts saved a life.
It was last May 14th when patrol officers Kirk Dodd and William Smith received a police radio call about a hospital case.
When they arrived at the scene, Dodd says the pair found a child lying motionless on the ground after falling out of a second-story window.
