3 On Your Side: Wells Fargo & Wachovia Mortgage Help

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Are you having problems paying your mortgage? You’re not alone. Over 35,000 Wells Fargo and Wachovia customers in our region are 30 days or more behind in their payments. A Homeownership Preservation Workshop is being held Wednesday and Thursday at the Pennsylvania Convention Center to help them out.

For the next two days, around 100 mortgage specialists will meet face-to-face with Wells Fargo and Wachovia customers who are having payment challenges and are looking to save their homes. Marie Day with Wells Fargo says, “We are literally picking up our servicing center and bringing it to the Philadelphia market to meet with any customer having a mortgage payment challenge who may be facing foreclosure.”

Changing The Symbolism Of The Color Black

I am Van Stone, author and syndicated columnist, and I invite people from all intercultural backgrounds to join the Van Stone Productions Foundation. My hope is that, through the media, I can teach men, women, and children the importance of joining the organization Van Stone Productions Foundation (VSP) which helps to define the color “black.” I had exactly what VSP members were looking for when I used the admired works of Dr. Seuss’, “My Many Colored Days” to come up with the “Expression of Black” in the color black.

I assign colors to moods and emotions as was Dr. Seuss’ signature. VSP brings colors (nationalities), images (crafts), and partnerships (personal gender relationships) together as one family/community. I believe that black means happy. I like to say, "The thoughts of happy men generate good company for positive people."

"Unfortunately the color of black has been blamed for many tragedies. Such as dressing in black during school shootings, being black-listed or black-balled, evil, etc.," I'd also say, "The color black has been synonymous with many negative things and subconsciously the color black creates negative thoughts for many people.

I desire that the color black be re-designed and created in a whole new expression, just like green is for earth day, blue is for jean day, silver is for a 25th anniversary.

I have created a PEACE DAY for the wearing of the color black to stop unduly influencing people with the symbolism of the color black having negative connotations. On PEACE DAYS, all days are great for reading, honoring grandparents, doing any type of planting, telling close friends that you are glad to have them as a real friend, and hanging out in your library. PEACE DAYS are also for conversing about your favorite poems, realistic fiction, monsters, fantasy, fairy tales, mascots, or superheroes who may represent the color black. Then it would be good to draw the shape of a black rose or heart.
