Family Of ‘Basement Of Horror’ Victim Await DNA Results For Rescued Children
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — For the first time, CBS 3 heard from the family of Edwin Sanabria. The 31-year-old is one of the mentally challenged adults held captive in a basement. Sanabria’s family wants to know if any of the children in Weston’s care, who are now in the foster care, are related to them. DNA tests results are still pending.
Robert Sanabria came by CBS3 to watch video of what might be his niece. The video came from a woman who says she lived next door to Linda Weston for about six months back in 2007. Weston told her neighbor the child, known as “Little L”, was hers. Sources say, it could be that of basement victims, Tamara Breeden and Edwin Sanabria.
“I thought he was probably dead,” said Edwin’s brother Robert. “I had nightmares about it, waking up, crying at times, wondering where he’s at.”
