New Details Emerge In Infant’s Starvation Death
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – An exclusive CBS 3 I-Team investigation now reveals new details about the final days in the life of a two-month-old baby who starved to death inside a West Philadelphia homeless shelter for families.
Sources tell CBS 3 that a social worker has now told investigators that Quasir Alexander did not appear to have any serious health problems when she checked on him December 21st.
The worker for Lutheran and Children Family Service, contracted by the city’s Department of Human Services to provide voluntary guidance and monitoring to Alexander’s mother and five other children, then closed out the case.
