Philadelphia Police Announce Arrest In ‘Kensington Strangler’ Case
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Philadelphia police have arrested a person of interest in the case of the three ‘Kensington Strangler’ murders.
Police said 21-year-old Antonio Rodriguez was taken into custody near the area after a caller phoned in a tip. The announcement Monday night came shortly after a news conference in which Capt. James Clark said Rodriguez was being sought as a “person of interest” in the case.
Details of the arrest remain unclear.
Pennsylvania State Police said they confirmed a DNA hit through a convicted felon database linking Rodriguez to the three murders.
