‘Phillies Mural’ Design Unveiled In Center City

PHILADELPHIA, Pa (CBS) - The wraps today came off plans for a mural along the Schuylkill River depicting the history of the Phillies.
The faded ad on the river side of the eight-story building on the south side of 24th and Walnut Streets is being replaced with a retrospective of the Fighthin’ Phils.
Jane Golden, director of the Mural Arts program, has overseen 3,500 murals in the city. She says this one has been in the works since 2008.
