Pennsylvania’s AG Weighs In On The Penn State Sex Abuse Scandal
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A former Penn State University coach and two other university employees have been charged in connection with a child sex abuse case that allegedly took place at the school.
Former Penn State defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky has been released on 100-thousand dollars bail after being charged with the sexual abuse of middle and high school students involved with an at-risk program at the University.
“Mr. Sandusky’s charged with sexually assaulting eight different young men during a period of time from 1995 to 2009, some of the sexual assaults occurred during a time where Sandusky was an active coach,” says Nils Frederikson with the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s office.
