Security Increased At Penn State’s Beaver Stadium After Bomb Threat, Searches Find Nothing Suspicious
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. (CBS) – Beaver Stadium at Penn State University received an anonymous bomb threat on Friday night.
The threat, which was made anonymously, resulted in numerous searches by both local police and the FBI, as well as increased security on-site.
Penn State’s stadium has been secured since Tuesday, but police did bring in bomb-sniffing dogs and additional personnel to check the stadium on Friday night and Saturday morning.
