Fundraiser for Kids with Cystic Fibrosis Tonight at Ballpark
The Phillies may be away today playing New York, but some South Jersey residents hope the Diamond Club will be filled with people since they are raising money for Cystic Fibrosis.KYW’s Michelle Durham spoke to a young man from Haddonfield who is battling the disease. Charlie Clarke is an 8th grader. He attends Haddonfield Middle School and lives with Cystic Fibrosis:
“The mucus in my lungs is a little bit thicker then everyone elses. So when I get a cold it’s harder to fight.”
But in spite of this, he plays sports with the best of them:
