Let’s get it. As my son says. I always remind my son that before we get it, know that you are a First Nations person. We are not African Americans. Still, when it comes to Slavery, Slavery is our story too. Because since Slavery is an All Black Americans emergency, -TWINS, WHO WE ARE,- SO MOST BEAUTIFUL ARE WE- we are Black people who must, just like the rest do, remind the world about it happening every chance we can. It's our ongoing emergency. If Slavery is not still ongoing why is America still blaming us for everything it dislikes?
Slavery- the definition. It’s quite long, possibly even longer: If your descendants were forced into chains, all types of chains in connection with the Americas, or If your descendants got into a verbal or physical fight with the U.S. Gov. Slavers and/or Slave Owners in an effort to halt Slavery. If your descendants were caught helping escaped Slaves. If your descendants were helping escaped Slaves and didn’t get caught. The conflict between the U.S. Gov and abused groups of Black peoples remained- until present.
Many Black Americans were escaped Slaves. Of course, many more Black Americans were fighting against enslavement- But the U.S. Gov. made sure not to keep good records of just how many of the Blacks of America fought back against enslavement. Most of the time, the U.S. Gov. keep good records of how many American Blacks there were who actually went back to live in Africa.
Once, during Slavery, the U.S. Gov. identified Blacks who had left America returning to Africa as Liberians. Because they were Blacks who self-identified as direct descendants of people living in Africa before being enslaved by the U.S. Gov., they went back to Africa and created a Black country on the West African coast called Liberia.
Black Americans who were now identified as Liberians began to fight among themselves and other groups of Black peoples of Africa then starting killing one another as well as other groups of Black peoples living in Liberia. They called it civil war. But to me, it was what it was… still Slavery.
The U.S. Gov. as usual didn’t do a good job at recording how there were actually groups of Black peoples of America who were also Slave Owners of other groups of Black peoples. These Black people who disliked other Black people were called Free People of Color. The Free People of Color were never forced to participate in Slavery as the myth goes. They were Blacks of America who wanted to enslave other Blacks. So then, the opportunist that they were, everything in Liberia immediately became focused on Racial hierarchy, not learned from White people, but self-taught by both White people and Black people alike, making the same U.S. Gov. oppression to be the same wherever people having anything to do with the U.S. Gov. would be.
Black-Americans-Liberians- eventually ended up escaping Liberia and either went Underground Railroad passageways or once again reentered the U.S. hoping not to be reenslaved by both White Slave Owners and/or Black Slave Owners.
So, it seems to be the norm in America, whether you are in the South Americas or the North Americas, there has always been and will always be people searching for the moment to profess to be about the good nature of a particular Race or Culture so that they can individually or as a group, dominate others.
Why I say dominate others? Well, take a look at the Free People of Color. The practice was that the hierarchy would be Black women in dominance over groups of Black Americans. This groups would be second to White men in dominance over groups of Black Americans. And therefore, the White male Slave Owners sold the Black Americans to the Black female Slave Owners sharing profits and land taken from, you guessed it, Black Americans who owned the land in the first place.
The Free People of Color were quick to catch on to the U.S.Gov. game of thief and oppression by simply identifying Blacks who were already in America as Indians when the First Americans were actually of the same group of peoples of originally out of Africa, out of the Caribbean, out of the West Indies, Out of Cuba, Out of India, out of China, out of Europe. The same Black peoples.
The U.S. Gov. had to make arrangements to identify the different groups by culture as each group of Black peoples had their own distinct culture and religion. That is the only difference between the Blacks of America-not their/our skin complexions.
Today, groups of Black people are name-called Aliens and/or Immigrants… Yet and still the so-called aliens and/or immigrants are the same groups of Black peoples who had already been at their home, here in America, as many were taken from America, be it from North America to Central America to South America enslaved-full circled. So then, here they come trying to get back into America-here.
And today, in 2019, there is… Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. AOC says first thing, she is Black. And so speaking about women and Slavery it’s no surprise that many are jealous.
While bits of Free People of Color Slavery remain, mostly hidden in hidden racism, Black hidden racism, and Black Supremacy- some falsely connect Black Supremacy with Black Nationalism, but that’s a whole different topic, - there are many Women of Color and Black Women who have been outspoken against the Hierarchy of Black class ism in America.
Trump is so bothered by the Squad, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and 3 other Congresswomen who just so happen to be Black.
Did I mention that the Liberian constitution and flag were modeled after those of the U.S.? On January 3, 1848? And did I mention that country of Liberia, wayyyy over there is West Africa were participants in the U.S. Civil War in support of President Lincoln? You tell someone how former Slaves of America came out of Africa and willing went to war for their own Slave Masters during an American war?
In 1804, that’s 58 years before Liberia was recognized by the U.S. Gov. as a country, 58 years, Haiti became, well you know, Haiti. Slaves fighting what Black America has always been fighting against.
As you can well see, there are those groups of Black peoples who will fight right alongside their oppressor not matter what the past or the present and then there are those groups of Blacks peoples, like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the Squad who will fight against OUR oppressor who oppresses ongoing.
We as Black Americans have within America peoples of Central Americas, peoples of Haiti and the other Islands, peoples of Africa be they long ago descendants or not to long ago descendants of Africa, peoples of America who were always here and peoples of America whose departure was from here and arrival is back to here.
