Good morning and blessings in the name of Christ Jesus.
"Thought for Today"
I often hear the phrases "let God be God and God showed up and showed out".
My personal opinion, concerning these phrases is that they shouldn't be said without clarifying what meaning they have to the individual. When you use these phrases, "let God be God", your saying that he's not who He says he is, almighty God. God doesn't need you or any else to validate Him, he's God all by himself. Deuteronomy 10: 17.
This word (Let) means to allow. We should be clear when we use these phrases and understand what they mean so that you don't remove from your pattern of thought who almighty God really is to you/us. God is God, whether you know it or not or if you want Him to be or not!
If you truly believe this is not so, let something devastating take place in your life. A love one passes, a child takes on a incurable sickness or you yourself can't breathe.
Should you let/allow, God be God at that time or is he God? And what name do you call on then? Do you call on your name, the doctor or the one that created everything, even you? God is THEE all Invincible-One only!! That's my thought!
