Chip Kelly Remains Noncommittal On Vick Or Nick

Philadelphia, PA (CBS) — Chip Kelly was noncommittal Monday at his day-after press conference as to who would be the Eagles’ starting quarterback against visiting Dallas this Sunday in a NFC East battle for first place at Lincoln Financial

Field.

Nick Foles is coming off his second victory as a starter (first this season) after the Eagles’ 31-20 victory over the winless Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. In replacing the injured Michael Vick, who pulled his left hamstring in the second quarter against the New York Giants two weeks, Foles completed 22 of 31 passes for 296 yards, three touchdowns, including two long TD tosses, one for 47 to Riley Cooper and a 36-yard TD pass to DeSean Jackson.

Though it seems if Vick is healthy enough to go against Dallas, he will be the starter on Sunday. Kelly refuted something LeSean McCoy said after the game, saying Kelly revealed that Vick will remain the starting quarterback.

Changing The Symbolism Of The Color Black

I am Van Stone, author and syndicated columnist, and I invite people from all intercultural backgrounds to join the Van Stone Productions Foundation. My hope is that, through the media, I can teach men, women, and children the importance of joining the organization Van Stone Productions Foundation (VSP) which helps to define the color “black.” I had exactly what VSP members were looking for when I used the admired works of Dr. Seuss’, “My Many Colored Days” to come up with the “Expression of Black” in the color black.

I assign colors to moods and emotions as was Dr. Seuss’ signature. VSP brings colors (nationalities), images (crafts), and partnerships (personal gender relationships) together as one family/community. I believe that black means happy. I like to say, "The thoughts of happy men generate good company for positive people."

"Unfortunately the color of black has been blamed for many tragedies. Such as dressing in black during school shootings, being black-listed or black-balled, evil, etc.," I'd also say, "The color black has been synonymous with many negative things and subconsciously the color black creates negative thoughts for many people.

I desire that the color black be re-designed and created in a whole new expression, just like green is for earth day, blue is for jean day, silver is for a 25th anniversary.

I have created a PEACE DAY for the wearing of the color black to stop unduly influencing people with the symbolism of the color black having negative connotations. On PEACE DAYS, all days are great for reading, honoring grandparents, doing any type of planting, telling close friends that you are glad to have them as a real friend, and hanging out in your library. PEACE DAYS are also for conversing about your favorite poems, realistic fiction, monsters, fantasy, fairy tales, mascots, or superheroes who may represent the color black. Then it would be good to draw the shape of a black rose or heart.
