PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — An art show spotlighting Philadelphia homicides is one of the more than 150 events at the Fringe Arts festival currently underway at various venues in the area.
The art installation is free. It’s called “one year.” There are 331 wire sculptures or vessels that look like baskets and vases representing the 331 murders last year in Philadelphia.
A number of community members help to make them, including school children and members of the violence prevention group “Mothers in Charge.”
