Today Marks The 4th Heat Wave This Summer
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Today marks the fourth heat wave of the summer, as temperatures rose for a third day in a row – into the 90s.
At Sister Cities Park, children played in a splash fountain to stay cool. One of them was two-year-old Alexander Berger.
“We are hanging out at the water park to beat the heat. It feels like one hundred degrees,” said his mother, Rian Berger.
On Spring Garden Street, the Dunkin Donuts dealt with day two of no air conditioning. It was being fixed when Eyewitness News stopped by. Outside, people stepping out for lunch tried to stay in the shade.
