Saving The Westside Weekly!: The Westside Weekly newspaper
is serious trouble.
Once the engine of enormous news about neighbors of West
Philadelphia and beyond, The Westside Weekly newspaper keep providing its
readers with important information.
If you haven’t heard, some are saying that
the Westside Weekly is already out of business. But the old business model of
newsroom activity and popular representation still works. Together, we can save
the Westside Weekly.
The Westside Weekly has done great reporting and journalism.
Most recently, it has taken the lead in what’s called video journalism.
The story was done by one journalist working in video and
interviewing the way a printer might work in print. On his or her own.
The Westside Weekly newspaper is as good, or better in fact,
better than most of the reports you see on television network news. Much
better.
People in Philadelphia are still looking for and even
depending on print nowadays, and as it turns out, the market for hard-copy
newspaper is enormous, and growing in Philly all the time.
Nowadays, you'd be scared someone would write
fake news about Philly or other cities but in the Westside Weekly old days, no
one ever thought of that stuff.
At the helm now, I am looking for people
interested in media and news stories. If you think you you have a story about
modeling, sports, family, culture or even something that few papers report about,
then reach out to me and the Westside Weekly.
