PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — The mayor of Philadelphia was among those who rappelled down the side of a 31-story building Friday afternoon to raise money for the Outward Bound program.
Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter, an alumni of the Outward Bound program, brought attention to Friday’s Outward Bound fundraiser by rappelling down the 31-story One Logan Square Building in Center City.
Kuznits: “What was your strategy? You came down pretty fast, it seems.”
Nutter: “That was my strategy. To come down as fast as I could! But if you come down too fast, the equipment will lock up on you so you have to moderate yourself.”
